Making Tracks in the Yorkshire Dales
I bought the Making Tracks Pack for the Lakes 3 years ago and we have done 9 out of the 10 and thought that it was excellent. So keen to capitilize on the kids newly found enthusiasm for the great outdoors, I was eager to get this pack, as we live in Yorkshire. We have discovered Brimham rocks now, our favourite jaunt. The kids adore climbing all the misshapen weathered rocks, and even help to pack the picnic beforehand by following the rock bun recipe in the leaflet. Last week we went to Bolton Abbey and were stunned by the beauty of the place. There was something for everyone to do, and the leaflet keeps the interest going for the kids whilst we spotted a kingfisher as suggested in the second walk. Our 8 year son guided us up the hill to a quirky cafe called Buffers coffee shop, a place we would never have found without the pack. Fantastic homemade produce and a model railway to interact with upstairs. I have recommended these two packs to handful of friends with kids and everyone has been as positive response. I highly recommend you buy this and the Making Tracks in the Lakes, you'll not be disappointed.

Making Tracks in the Yorkshire Dales
We have tried several of these walks now and have all been impressed with every single one, no matter what the weather. The locations are great and the directions are quite straightforward for our 8 year old to lead. I wish there were more of these for other parts of the country. There seems to be two others as yet, for the Peak district and the Lake District.

Making Tracks in the Lake District
A fun, easy to follow walking book to keep the kids interested. 10 graphically led walks through the Lakes gives the kids chance to learn and get interested in the outdoors and have a great deal of fun at the same time. Well recommended for anyone who has children that cannot be removed from the telly at the weekend, age range 4-11.

Making Tracks in the Lake District
Bought this pack of kids walks a year ago and we all love it. The walks are reasonably easy to do, manage to keep kids entertained and tears them away from the computer/play station. We all feel physically better after these - they are in the most beautiful areas - we particularly enjoyed the Grasmere walk, Grizedale forest, oh and yes, Tarn Hows. Have since bought the packs for the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales - you must try the Bolton Abbey walk - I challenge you not to be overawed.

Making Tracks in the North York Moors
The North York Moors has lots to offer young and enquiring minds including fossils, tributes to daring seafarers and lots of fascinating plants and animals. With lots of pointers on things to look out for, the Making Tracks in the North York Moors makes walking much more fun than just getting from A to B and allows children to learn more about the countryside in a fun and imaginative way. It would be a useful tool for schools as part of their health agenda.

Making Tracks in the North York Moors
Making Tracks in the North York Moors is designed especially for children aged 5-12 to pick up and take the lead, with 12 short routes around the North York Moors. Each is on a handy self-contained leaflet that's simply and beautifully illustrated, with easy step-by-step instructions and colourful maps to follow. The ingenious author has even produced a child-friendly version of the Countryside Code and local bus route map. Hugely impressive.

North Yorkshire Moors Pack
20 walks from easy to difficult. Each walk is printed on an A5 laminate, map on one side (Ordnance Survey) with route marked in red and instructions on other. Just take the walk you need and a picnic. It comes with a waterproof map case to put the walk in. Also it has places of interest info on the nearest toilets etc. Always takes you off the beaten track, directions are excellent and I never got lost. Can't find any faults with them! Also, I have got the Lakes Pack and Peak District Pack.
